Business Development at King Solutions

I have been working at King Solutions since June of 2014. The best part of my career is interacting with clients on a daily basis, taking in as much information as possible to create the best possible solution for them. I grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and attended the University of Wisconsin – River Falls where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management. When I’m not working on client solutions, I enjoy cooking, baking and spending time with husband and our two dogs. I love DIY tv shows and have fun learning how to use power tools for all of my house projects!

Business Development at King Solution

I joined King Solutions 10 years ago following an 8-year history in business management. The best part about my role in sales is interacting with King’s diverse account base, helping them solve their supply chain challenges. More specifically, I’ve developed a niche over the last 20 years working with the United States Postal Service. I grew up in Buffalo, MN and graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in business administration. I’m active member of PIM (Printing Industry of MN) and CMA (Central MN Manufacturing Association) and support charity organizations including MOCA, Teen Challenge, Susan G Komen. During my personal time I enjoy golf, basketball, softball, politics, stock market analysis and working out.

I am a 35 year industry veteran, where did the time go! I began my career way back working for Consolidated Freightways in their management trainee program. The next 4 years I had a few promotions and relocations. Trying to get back to Minnesota had me start a 17 year career at Yellow Freight in operations and eventual sales. Originally I met King Solutions through Yellow Freight. The first day I walked through the door I knew King Solutions was a special organization with a culture second to none. In 2008 I made my career move to King Solutions. What I enjoy about sales with King is our vast service offerings backed by an operations team that makes me look good! A fun fact – recently I received a 1 gallon pin for donating blood. I like to stay involved with police fundraisers and supporting organizations that support our veterans.

Business Development at King Solutions

I joined the King Solutions team over 7 years ago, right after I graduated from college at the University of Minnesota. I started working at the front desk as our receptionist, I worked my way into our customer care team helping our clients with their day to day logistics needs, and then led one of our customer care fulfillment teams for several years before finally moving into business development at King. My favorite part about working at King is helping customers solve complex logistical challenges. Connecting with people to help them solve problems makes what I do that much more rewarding. I am also the Chair of King’s Charity Committee and thoroughly enjoy making a difference for others in our community. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and getting outside with my family. My favorite place I have traveled to so far is Cinque Terre, Italy.

I have been in the transportation industry for going on 4 years. I enjoy building relationships with my customers as well as their logistics needs. I love cars, muscle cars are my favorite. 1968 Chevelle SS, 1968 Camaro SS and a 1985 IROC-Z Camaro are 3 muscles I really like. Spring, Summer and Fall are my favorite seasons. I like to cook but want to learn to bake one day. A fun fact is I like to do nails as a hobby.
